The Othrs is a media-making company led by acclaimed filmmakers Jehane Noujaim and Karim Amer. The Othrs seeks to support and showcase films rooted in impact media and change-making efforts. They are currently producing a film exploring African conservation and cultural preservation from the eyes of photojournalists and local African conservationists. Highlighting the important story of the decades-long extraordinary adventure and collaboration between pioneering photographers Carol Beckwith and Angela Fisher, this film archives and bears witness to a way of life now threatened by the predatory pace of globalism, climate change, and conflict.
